Cancellation Policy: Clients will be billed for scheduled appointments missed without reasonable notice.
Scholarship Funds: The Kaulele Scholarship Fund was established in 2003 with the generous support of area residents Walter and Marcia Kortschak. The Kortschaks have strong motivation to help students who struggle with learning differences. They understand, through their own experiences, that independent evaluation and support services make important, positive differences in the lives of students who are facing academic challenges as a result of a Specific Learning Disability.
Since 2003, the Kortschak family has given over $130,000 toward this goal, enabling Kaulele Education Services to provide diagnostic educational evaluation, limited academic tutoring, and planning consultation to over forty island families from nine different schools who could not otherwise afford this help on their own. Families receiving services through this fund are asked to help extend this good will to others by making a contribution that is within their financial reach. Over thirty families have made such contributions, bringing the total scholarship services provided to over $150,000. Beginning in 2008, the Kortschaks further agreed to match all contributions from scholarship recipients, thus doubling the impact of those who support the fund.
